VOP 025 - Vojenský opravárenský podnik

Vojenský opravárenský podnik 025 Nový Jičín, s.p. (only VOP 025 hereinafter) was established in 1946. Since its establishment VOP 025 has been specialized in repairs and upgrading of tanks. The company has been an integrator and facilitator of the important project of T-72 tank upgrading.

After 1992 company production program was extended by truck overhauling and by engineering co-operation with foreign companies. After merging with VOP 012 Nový Jičín, s.p. in 2004 the company began to overhaul and check also the artillery systems and small arms. VOP 025 is important supplier for Czech Army, company produces T-72M4 CZ tanks and PANDUR II 8x8 wheeled armoured vehicles.
